Employment and Career Opportunity

High school students interested in this profession should take classes in biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, English, and social studies. Admission into physical therapy programs in colleges is very competitive, and depends heavily on good grades in high school.

Internships are available at Imua Family Services. Students in the intern program will shadow a Therapist and learn about how services are administered. A report may be required at the end of the internship to help in the evaluation process of the program.
